Thinking of writing a new programming language?
Here's some advice; Don't.
However good your vision, however clever you are, your time would be better spent improving an existing language. FACT!
If you go down to the woods today...
... it's not just the deer that are abroad...
I spent the weekend helping organise a major horse riding event next to Exeter racecourse on Haldon Hill. This entails driving around woodland in a four wheel drive, tying bits of brightly coloured tape to trees and a few direction arrows on the saturday and, as it turned out, getting locked in the wood because I wasn't given the right key. Anyway - problems to be solved, we got out after a few hours with the course mostly marked.
Firefox 3. Unusable if you use web cameras?
I raised a bug over a month ago with the FF3 release candidates, and so have multiple other people, it was raised to critical recently but the decision has been made to rush out FF3 without resolving a serious bug that affects us all who use Ip Cameras.

Put simply; if you visit an mjpeg stream then that stream will never terminate. No matter if you close tab, navigate away or whatever.

One of my winboxes caught a trojan today. The first I've had for some time, and it turns out to be a tricky one. Polymorphic with unique filenames/reg entries.
Avira missed it installing, but I noticed odd behavior ( several copies of rundll32.exe in taskman, one of which kept restarting when killed) and updated the av database (3 days old) and then it found it, but couldn't do anything with it.
My perfect irc client, where are you?
The search goes on...
I use IRC a lot - in fact I'm employed part-time to write IRC scripts and bots for a company with a large irc presence, so choosing the right IRC client is a major thing for me.
